Having developed her first company website in 1996 (and “online” since 1987), Jeneane is a well-known blogger on her personal blog, allied, and social media blog, www.jeneane.net. She was recently ranked in the Technorati Top 10,000 among millions of blogs. A social media pioneer, she started blogging in 2001 and founded the first women’s team blog, Blog Sisters, that same year. That community has flourished for 8 years, with 100+ contributing members. She has served as an Advisory Board Member and Contributing Editor to the high-profile women’s community, BlogHer, and she has been featured in such publications as Business Week, The New York Times and The Times Online for her expertise on blogging and the Internet.

Jeneane has helped several companies with their social media and blogging strategies and implementations, including Cox Communications, BubbleShare, TopTenMedia, StyleFeeder, Qumana, SezWho, Yojo Mobile (Mizpee.com and Yojomama.com), PaidInterviews.com, bTrendie, and others.

As the words and voice behind dozens of Fortune 500/1000 companies over the last 20 years— including American Management Systems, Delta Air Lines, Equifax, IBM, Kodak, Nokia, and The Home Depot— Jeneane has given personality to corporations by providing creative, targeted communications that deliver compelling messages.

During her five years with Ketchum’s Atlanta office, Jeneane contributed to the branding, launch, and positioning of more than 30 clients. As Senior E-Business writer for the Ketchum network, she was responsible for concepting and writing virtually every type of communication deliverable— web sites, brochures, ads, white papers, articles, scripts, marketing plans, speeches, launch strategies, and more— for every imaginable audience and market.

From 1994-1998, Jeneane was Director of Corporate Communications for Systems Techniques, a healthcare data warehousing company later acquired by IBM. There, Jeneane executed the marketing and public relations programs that built the company’s brand and helped lead to its acquisition.

Prior to moving to Atlanta from Rochester, NY, Jeneane spent five years with Eastman Kodak Company managing the Technical Publications Group at Kodak’s Edicon Systems Division. Before joining Kodak, she was part of a five-person software startup, Quality Information Systems (acquired by Datamyte).
